  • MA 2008 – August 18 Board Meeting

    Location of meeting is unknown at this time. To begin at 7:00 PM

    This is an open, public meeting. All 504 Silver Springs members are invited to attend.

    POSSIBLE AGENDA ITEMS: — D R A F T – O N L Y —

    1. Call meeting to order.
      Aproval of last meeting minutes.
    2. Mission Statement, assigned to Lucy, discussion and approval:

    3. Board Books being prepared by Robyn for each MA Board member.
      Should be collaborating with Lucy and all the MA info Lucy has collected and posted on the https://www.silverspringscommunity.com/master-association/, etc. webpages.
    4. Repair on upper pond/small lake gate – “Private, exclusive use” on deeds
    5. Second/duplicate website – unauthorized, not on 2007-2008 budgets; soliciting sponsors.
      Opened another P.O.Box 980326; hosted by GoDaddy; templates & services by HOAsites.com
      Not authorized to use, borrow, etc. anything from original 2000 site www.silverspringshoa.org.
      Site developers should be cooperating and helping one another rather than competing with separate sites.
      See original site at www.silverspringshoa.org has all MAHOA docs, minutes, budgets, 12 subdivisions, etc.
    6. Accounts Receivable/Payable – to be prepared by Robyn Bailey
      —–Review assessment amounts – apply current rate to bridge, walkway, etc.
      Review MA Budget now that large lake work is completed/ money in account for small lake.
      Reduce amount charged to subdivisions – or use for other projects, form study committees
      ___Consider request for an audit per the By-Laws
    7. Discuss recording of Section 31 “unassessed” parcel contiguous with Blue Roof located at corner of Silver Springs Drive and Hwy 224, to the MA for control of signage and use, also protection of stream and Duck Pond at our south entry.
    8. Discuss maintenance of both north and south community entries from Hwy 224.
    9. Clean up the Northshore entry parcel. Remove dead branches, cut path, lay stone walkway, replace bark. Trim overgrown shrubs at south entry. Thought : Will any of the parcels along Hwy 224 be taken over by the County or UDOT for road expansions?
    10. Contract for Park maintenance, what contract includes, no open-ended accounts.
    11. Contract for MA Manager, specify duties, no open-ended accounts
    12. Cut weeds from Parcels R and J. Clear berm paths.
    13. Isa Wright, President of Willow Bend East, would like the aspens trimmed on the tennis court park parcel.
    14. Bridge from Ptarmigan to Open Space at end of Ptarmigan Court.
      Community Garden on one of our large parcels (Parcel J ?), use lake irrigation system
    15. Boat launch area installed near pump house and crescent area of Parcel R..
    16. North Shore raised walkway to Swaner hiking trails; clean up cattails in waterways (Parcel A, T, and “Wetlands” Tract A.

    Verify number of units. If MA Budget is based on 481 or 491 units then who is not paying (QM-II-12).
    If all 504 units are paying how much is each unit paying annually? Are all condos paying the same annual amount?
