Silver Springs Master Homeowner’s Association Board of Trustees Monthly Meeting
Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, 6:30 pm
1) Confirm Quorum. Confirm legitimately elected trustees.

3) Approval of Previous Minutes
4) Membership Comments-
a) When is MHOA board electing an eligible president of the Board. No president since October 2009.
b) Majority of Association Members are in favor of dissolving the MHOA.
c) The recession atmosphere calls for tightening belts, MHOA Board has proposed a 2010 assessment that is over 200% more than last year for projects that are unnecessary.
5) Rules & Regs Committee Update
If the board won’t follow the 1989 Articles of Incorporation and the 1990 Bylaws why are they producing another set of Rules & Regulations?
6) Standing Committee Reports
a) Lakes – Deed the Little Lake to SouthShore, Drain the Big Lake for a 20+ acre Park.
b) Dams – The MHOA board already has money since early 2008 to reinforce the Little Lake dam bank. The Little Lake is entirely surrounded by an exclusive “Private Enjoyment Easement” which allows access only by the 25 lake view lot owners.
7) Unfinished Business
a) Open Secretary/Treasurer Position – Lucy Archer has volunteered for this position.

c) Internal Audit
d) Lake Front Possibilities – Transform Big Lake, 20.84 acres, into a Park which would be added to the 2.01 acre park and to Parcels R and J.
e) Legal Expenditure Guidelines
f) Special Assessment Procedures Resolution – Bylaws Article III Section 5A: 66 2/3% of General Association Members needed to vote approval during the Annual Association Meeting for any assessments.
g) Recording Device for Transcribing Meeting Minutes – Unneeded as Members want to dissolve MHOA.
h) Web Site Reminder With Assessment – www.silverspringscommunity.com – free access
i) North Shore Entrance Landscaping – To be done by neighborhood volunteers, keep cost under $500.
J) 2010 Assessment—Structure and Timing – MHOA to be dissolved, Member Votes.
