Another Park City Fire District Service

 The Park City Fire District offers a free chipping service to county residents who are thinning their “residential forest.” Here are the details for SSFHOA residents who may need this service:

Chipping for Fire Safety

(We are able to chip the following);

• Branches that are removed from trunks
• Branches no larger than 8 inches in diameter
• We cannot chip any type of construction material – Nails, wire, string, lawn clippings or thorny bushes.

*Please stack your chipping piles close to the road, with the ends of the branches cut and facing downhill.*

•  First occurrence for chipping services – $0.00
• Second occurrence for chipping services – ($100.00)
• Each additional occurrence for chipping services after the second request – ($150.00)

When calling please include your name, address, subdivision, and telephone number.

Please specify whether you would like to keep the wood chips on site or if you would prefer to have them removed.
