Summit Community Gardens is your garden, and it is growing! Thank you to everyone that gave their great ideas and support at the community input sessions. The steering committee is creating a strategic plan that incorporates your suggestions. We’d love to implement every single one of your brilliant ideas this year, but realistically some may have to wait. Our hopes for future years include expansion of the garden, additional neighborhood gardens, additional programming and education. Right now, the design committee is working feverishly to plan a model garden on the ten acre Ike & Billie Koleman parcel. Next we’ll turn to planning a few educational programs and social events. We’ll keep you updated as the plans unfold.
