Neighborhood Reminders

Good Neighbor Behaviors include: Rainbow over Silver Springs lake - Photo courtesy of Bob Follett

  • Walk to Silver Springs trail heads and to the Elementary School instead of driving your car.
  • Observe our 25 MPH speed limit. Watch for children and pets. Remind teenagers that “It’s the law” to slow down in neighborhoods.
  • Pick up after your dog(s) in our parks, when walking them past neighbors yards, and on our trails.
  • Turn off your outside lights before 11 p.m. Your neighbors will greatly appreciate your courtesy.
  • Do not leave any vehicles larger than a pickup truck parked in your driveway or on the street more than 48 hours.
  • Bring trash and recycle cans in from the curb each Tuesday evening.
  • Keep weeds off your property so that they don’t reseed in your neighbor’s yard. Keep your yard and mailbox well-maintained.
  • Clipping or cutting large branches into smaller pieces allows you to fit much more into your blue trash can.
  • Do not release unwanted aquarium fish, amphibians, or other pets into our waterways or common areas
  • Clean all construction debris or clutter from your yard and clear of bicycles, toys, trash cans, tools, ladders, etc. on a daily basis. Your neighbors will appreciate your efforts. If you have unwanted items that do not fit into your blue trash can, you can take them to the landfill or recycle center.

Fines for violating single family policy

Pick up after your dog in our parks, when walking your dog on neighbors yards, and on our trails. Be a Good Neighbor.
