Southshore at Silver Springs Subdivision Plat C Lot 55 Pond Setback Variance Request

Public notice is hereby given that the Summit County Board of Adjustment will conduct a public hearing to discuss and possibly approve a variance to the Snyderville Basin Development Code setback requirements regarding ponds at the Southshore at Silver Springs Plat C Subdivision. The proposed variance would allow the applicant to expand a deck adjacent to the pond at Southshore at Silver Springs Plat C Subdivision Lot 55, located at 1602 S. Shore Dr., Parcel SOS-C-55. The applicant, David Dowdie, representing property owner Sara L. Shand, is requesting to encroach into the required 100 foot pond setback by approximately 61 feet from the north in an effort to expand an existing deck.
The public hearing will be held on Thursday, July 22, 2010 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
